"Listening to uplifting and positive messages helps us in the midst of all the negativity in our world...and I believe that surrounding ourselves with uplifting and spiritually enlightening music can promote positive energy and provide us with the strength that we need in our daily lives." ~ ANNETTE
Annette performed for the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) on April 26, 2008 in Belleville, Michigan. The LRF-Michigan branch is sponsoring a Lymphomathon, a non-competitive 5K walk where survivors, family, friends, community and corporate teams walk in honor and memory of those whose lives have been touched by lymphoma. Annette debuted "Getting Closer" for the Michigan Lymphomathon participants in April 2007 where over $40,000 was raised. This song was inspired and written for a friend who is a lymphoma survivor and this organization's worthy cause. Her vision is to bring hope and encouragement to others at lymphomathons throughout the US.
Annette has reached deep within her soul to produce her latest album Paradox Of Life. Indie label inspired RECORDS® will release the CD in summer 2008 through Sony/BMG RED Distribution. Annette captures the essence of her inspiration with uplifting and thought-provoking lyrics. Paradox covets a unique smooth jazz style, laced with world sounds.
To celebrate the completion of Paradox, Annette orchestrated a first-of-its-kind Benefit Event with South Florida's Borders Books & Music Cafés and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County. An in-store performance by Annette in both Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs Borders Stores, highlighted by charity volunteers, who provided the audience details about the tremendous satisfaction they receive spending quality time with a child in need of friendship, and how others can become "Bigs". During this successful two-day event, Annette presented pre-release copies of Paradox Of Life at each store on September 15th & 16th. The CD was sold exclusively through Borders to benefit the premier mentoring organization of the Broward County's Big Brothers Big Sisters. Annette's next Benefit Event will take place in summer 2008 with Borders and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago.
February 21, 2006 saw the release of Annette's successful album, Growing Into Myself. The single "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", written by Bryan Adams, was released to radio on May 2, 2005 and charted at #9 on the FMQB AC Top 40 Chart. Annette's radio promotion team carried the momentum and released "Everything" to R&R mainstream AC radio on September 19, 2005 where it landed on the New & Active list. "Everything" then impacted Smooth Jazz radio in the Fall of 2006 and another single from the CD, "Ask", was promoted to Christian Inspirational radio January 2006.
Annette's promotion team strategically released her compelling cover of a Stevie Wonder creation - "Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away." This song sped out of the gate last April 2006, reaching #11 on the FMQB AC Top 40 Chart, and more airplay on Smooth Jazz stations nationwide.

An Italian immigrant born in a small town in the region of Calabria, Annette comes from a large musical family and has childhood memories of her father playing the mandolin and accordion. Some of her siblings are accomplished musicians. Annette's melodious upbringing led to her involvement in a rich variety of professional musical groups and theatrical productions, including performing with "The Kids from Wisconsin" ensemble. She was lead vocalist for a jazz and pop band that toured the Midwest. A highlight of her career was performing as a background vocalist for a well-known entertainer.
Annette has always been involved through her music with causes like Feed the Children, The University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and The Possible Dream Foundation. For Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA), Annette hopes that their 100-year milestone was just the beginning of a national campaign to encourage more adults to lend their time and talent to mentoring a single child in need of friendship and guidance. In honor of their 2004 Centennial kick off in New York, Annette asked inspired RECORDS® to sponsor a 3 song CD, called I Believe. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to BBBS chapters. Annette performed the first two songs on I Believe at Chelsea Piers and Bryant Park and was invited to perform at Mar-A-Lago for the BBBS Palm Beach chapter. Today, Annette continues to work with local BBBS chapters setting up wonderful community events with Borders and Barnes & Noble stores.
A performance at Selfridge Air National Guard Base north of Detroit, Michigan on October 21, 2006 is the first of many stops across the country to support our troops. Annette is planning to visit bases in North Carolina and Florida in the near future.
Personally, Annette is married and the mother of two girls. She is active in education and currently works in the Saline, Michigan school system as a teacher of ESL, helping students whose native language is not English.
Annette's career took hold in 1993 with the recording of her debut album A Love Like Ours. A second album, All The Way To Crazy, inspired RECORDS® release of a third CD, deeper, and a total of ten single releases has seen Annette's music continue to evolve into a beautiful, inspirational sound.
